Also agreed. My score certainly didn't blow anyone away, but it was within the range I consistently pre-tested at after taking a formal study course. Four rushed weeks might eke out 10-30 pt increase, but if I was an AdCom, that wouldn't move the needle very much.

I think we should get a WL headcount by the end of the week. They will start reviewing apps early May.

I’m hoping we see some movement on 5/10, I'm thinking it’ll be my last day on the waitlist. Once again, we'll see(I said the same thing about R2).

I have got a strong feeling that there will be a major movement on 5/10. Duke is probably the only school who openly say that its WL is selective and you still have a great shot at acceptance. Since lot of people on this forum have already said no, they need to be replaced by us "hungry" WLers. Let's hope for the best. Waiting for 31 more days will be pretty tough though.

If someone sends a recommendation on your behalf, how do you find out if the school received it? Do you get a confirmation email?

My third recommender got a confirmation email from Fuqua that the letter was added to my file. It was identical to the one I got a few days later when I submitted the remainder of my update personally.
