For us who haven't got that magic call from Booth, cheer up! Opportunities ahead :)
Here's an article I'd like to share with you:

Why I’m glad I got rejected from Chicago Business School
https://medium.com/cs-math/704985f091b8

quote:
"Everything that happens to you in life can be turned into an opportunity - even rejection. Not getting accepted in B-school, at the time, seemed like the worse thing that could have happened - actually turned out to be the best thing that could have happened for me. Success and happiness can be found in places you never thought to look."

Bracing myself for the WL or ding email in 6 minutes--at least it will be final at that point!

Also waitlisted. So far:

1 ding (HBS)
3 waitlist
1 acceptance

Round 3 applicant--all of these waitlists really underline, I believe, the importance of submitting your application in R1 or R2!

WL! I was expecting a ding. I was already plotting my strategy to reapply next year. I guess this game is not over yet!

I was calling the ding all kinds of names, while waiting for the email this morning, like...dingsimous, dingsonian, dingalingali, etc. These names were playing in my head. Congruts to those who got in, and for you my fellow WLs, i guess it's going to be a long summer.

Just got double waitlisted. Did anyone even get dinged this round? And, what are the chances of someone getting in from the summer waitlist? I guess our only hope now is the June 1 deposit deadline.

They have plenty of backbone. They dinged the **** out of me. Even after I flew there and had a stellar interview (even if I do say so myself). I would gladly have your WL if I could. I know you were just joking.

Orientation starts Monday September 9. Classes start on September 26. Sorry, but it's a long summer.
