Thanks for sharing your interview experience. I was told they have a case study discussion as well? Did your interview have one?

There was no case study as part of my interview, but that may have been because I interviewed via Skype. However, just based on the tone of my interview, I wouldn't expect that to be a normal part of the interview process. I could certainly be wrong, though.

The interview email does mention the case study part. Also they told me that they have stopped Skype interviews from this year so this is really odd. Another friend of mine from India got the same email.

Yes.. The interview email did not mention any thing about a case study. Last week i got an admit for ESADE Sept 2014 batch. I was interviewed by Katie. It was a wonderful and a very casual interview..

Hmmm.... I applied very early in the cycle, so it is possible that this new policy was implemented after I had already interviewed.

Good luck in your interview! I would say to just make sure that you practice discussing your career goals and past work history/achievements.

questions to help others prepare better..

I would say to make sure to have your answers to the normal question well-practiced (elevator pitch, why MBA, why ESADE, why now). Identify two or three key traits that you feel are important to your candidacy and make sure that you work those into each answer. Identify one or two ways that you would get involved on-campus as they will likely ask about that.

My interviewer asked several questions about Barcelona - had I ever been there, why did I want to live there, what did I know about the city, etc. Also, whether I thought I would do 12, 15, or 18 month (that one should be easy if you have your career goals down).

Other than that, just make sure to be friendly and honest. Again, I can't say enough about how pleasant the ESADE experience was.

Had an interview with Katie, for Masters in Marketing in Delhi on 28th Nov. The interview was very casual, and Katie was quite friendly! Now eagerly waiting for the results!
