hello all,

anybody received any scholarship info? a lot of my plans hinge on this little gift from the university. also, how many days later can we expect to receive the further information? i just got the admit yesterday.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping somebody might be able to give me some feedback on their thoughts choosing between ESADE and HEC. I have been accepted to both but I feel very uncertain which is the best option for me. I am looking at working in either consultancy or supply chain role initially upon graduation. I am obviously wanting the best option for staying in Europe, job opportunities and salary upon graduation. I am also travelling with my family and I am originally from the UK.

Hmmm, not sure how much more information we will be able to give you than what you can already get online. If you are interested in raw numbers comparing rating and salaries on graduation, have a look at the poetsandquants and Bloomberg rankings.
In terms of which might be a better place to stay and the ethos of the course, us potential applicants won't be of much help. All I can say is that, having visited both cities, my personal preference was Barcelona. But my interests are clubs and beaches. Yours will probably be different. I think you need to find a couple of people who have actually experienced each school and speak to them about it.
If you're from the UK you obviously won't have a problem staying in Europe. Both schools have plenty of people that get employed in Europe. For detailed placement info look at Bloomberg again.

Hi,

I am an Indian living in Africa. My GMAT score is 620 with around 9 years of work experience. Currently, handling the role of country Finance Head for a singapore based MNC in East Africa. I received a mail from katie saying that my profile is a good fit and asked me apply by 5th May which I did. They mentioned that they will be in Nairobi Kenya for interviews. I have the below queries.

1. Are the interviews related to admissions or general information related to MBA program.
2. Do we have to apply for scholarships alongwith the the application.
3. what is the normal time taken for review of application to the interview invite to the final admission. I have gone through the website for the dates. But i understand from the thread that some students received the interview invite in a week's time and got admitted fast.
4. Please help me out with the questions. I applied to HEC paris too on 30th April and planning to apply to Oxford on 30th May 2014.
5. As a back up is it advisable to apply to Cass business school in London.

1. My interview was related to admissions. All mostly standard questions. Please see my post above for the details. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "general information related to MBA program".

2. You can apply for the scholarship with the application, but you may also apply after. See here: https://www.esade.edu/ftmba/eng/fees-fin ... holarships

3. According to this: https://www.esade.edu/ftmba/eng/admissio ... -deadlines you will hear from them by 30th May about whether you have received an interview call or not. The actual interview date will depend on when Katie will be there, I guess, and I doubt that we can know that from now, unless you ask her. I heard my interview result less than 2 weeks after the interview, but that depends as well on when the admission board next sits for your review.

4. Which questions?

5. Cass is definitely on a tier slightly below HEC and Oxford, (and a fair bit below ESADE - I'm partial now!) so it may not be a bad backup. Have you considered Cranfield or Rotterdam as well?
