I got invited to interview on Thursday morning, but missed it initially as it went into my junk mail! I'm actually going to be withdrawing my application due to success elsewhere, but you all might be interested to know my application went under review back in October and I hadn't heard a thing in between - I'd given up by now.

Haas is a small school with a small admissions team, it definitely looks like they're still working through applications now. Don't give up hope!

Is there any chance of making it to Haas with 660 gmat score and a decent computer science engineer profile, entrepreneurship experiences etc

THe next week is the Christmas week .... So, I doubt the admissions committee will be working..... So that leaves January first week .... but they would like to have all interviews completed by the end of first week in Jan. .... SO basically it boils down to interviews coming only in this week !!!

Got an interview invitation today. As far as I know, I never went into a "Phase 2" of being under review. I've been in Phase one since early November. Don't lose heart, everyone. :)

Thrilled to receive an invite today! Indian applicant with 710 GMAT and good GPA. Status to 'Application Under Evaluation' changed 10 days back. I guess many Indians would have received an invitation today.

I agree completely. While I don't think our chances are very good because it's so late in the game, I have a feeling that the "stage" doesn't matter much. I doubt that the Berkeley Admissions team is that meticulous about changing it from "stage 1" to "stage 2."

That said, I'm still hopeful for an invite this week. If I don't hear from them by Friday night, I'm moving on with my life, for sanity's sake :)

Just sent an email to admissions asking whether they will release decisions prior to the deadline, here's their response:

Interview invitations will be made over the winter break, and all decisions (except in cases where an interview report is outstanding) will be announced on January 15.

For those who interviewed, did you have to submit attested copies of the transcripts and degree certificate before decision deadline or interview? Would appreciate the help
