East coast applicant here. Does anyone know whether calls are made throughout the day or is there generally a time frame in which they call applicants based on location? In other words, if other East Coasters like me haven't heard back by now, safe to assume a ding?

Well someone from the east coast got a phone call around half an hour back...so some hope remains..but its fading fast

The adcom lady who called me said that calls will continue till noon EST, then the decisions will be posted online. But there were 2 guys on GC EA this year who were admitted without a call.

Inn... got a call at 1030 est from Jake. Relieved, stoked, confused. Was driving, missed a couple of calls. He was kind enough to call back. Reapplicant, hsm, india.. this will take some time to sink in.

Hi All, Just received the call! Thanks for all of the information and support. I'm based on the East Coast, so not sure if they're mixing things up this year in terms of when they're notifying applicants.
Good luck to everyone. And remember, this is only one step out of many that will ultimately shape your career regardless of the news you receive today.
