East coast applicant here. Does anyone know whether calls are made throughout the day or is there generally a time frame in which they call applicants based on location? In other words, if other East Coasters like me haven't heard back by now, safe to assume a ding?

Well someone from the east coast got a phone call around half an hour back...so some hope remains..but its fading fast :(

The adcom lady who called me said that calls will continue till noon EST, then the decisions will be posted online. But there were 2 guys on GC EA this year who were admitted without a call.

Usually calls are made based on geographic region so (east coast, mid west, west coast/TX), but based on the low number of admit reported so far, it could be that they are doing things differently this time. I would not give up hope yet.
