Congrats! I received the call today as well. Just haven't seen any email or status update in the admission portal. Have you received anything else other than a call?

I haven't. Becca said that they'll be updating our letters this week sometime, so if nothing is up by Friday I plan to inquire. Congratulations! Best of luck to those of you still waiting. I wasn't expecting a call-- hang in there!

Got the call today! Nothing short of elated. Glad to be part of the Class of 2016 as Sloan has always been my first choice. Pm me if you want any info as to what updates I sent while I was on the waitlist.

And oh yes, I was interviewed prior to being put on the waitlist.

Best of luck to all those still waiting. Its not over till its over!

I couldn't find a MIT Waitlist 2015 thread. Wished to see whether the conversion comes in just in 3rd-4th week of May or would it continue even in June.

I've went through the old threads here- there were reports of admits off the waiting list in mid-late June, so if things hold true to form there should still be spots left.

It seems like a lot of action has already happened now that Round 3 is over for all schools and the first wave of waitlist announcements for schools like Harvard and Stanford have occurred. I think a few more spots may open up in June but I doubt there will be as much movement compared to the late May movement.

so far, seems like people who were already interviewed received offers. by my count, based on a few private messages, at least 5. but who knows how many other candidates also received offers that are not on the message board.

Quick FYI: my friend who was taken off the waitlist had until Friday to put down a deposit at MIT. If some people who was offered a spot did not opt to enroll, there may be some movement this week.

The wait list is still in flux folks. People may be admitted as late as August.

I was admitted from the waitlist a couple weeks ago. The week I interviewed is the same week I was admitted. If anyone wants to know my specific story (e.g. what I wrote in update letter, interactions with admissions, etc.) just shoot me a PM.
