Yes, I got a call from Jen Barba; I believe she's the waitlist manager for this year. She called to say that there is a "high priority waitlist" (all those talks about "no ranking" in waitlist is apparently not true) and I was on it. They wanted a quick turnaround so I have about a week to make my decision, which isn't hard at all for me!

As far as what I did to manage my waitlist status -- I got letters of support from (a) a recent alum whom I've known for a few years as friends; (b) 1st year student in a student org I was interested in joining and got in touch during the app process; and (c) 2nd year student from my previous employer. I made sure to help them outline how I can contribute to Sloan and basically why I need to be a part of c/o 2015! I also got an additional recommendation in from my boss.

Based on the research that I did, it seemed that Sloan AdComm appreciates support from the Sloan community, so I made sure my candidacy reflects that from various constituents from a recent alum to a 1st year student.

Good luck to everyone -- I'm sure AdComm will definitely hit up more people in the coming weeks/months.

Ha. I wish I did have some for you! Part of me thinks we will have a lower yield in R2 than R1 because our R2 AdMIT Weekend was canceled, but that is purely supposition on my part.

Was an international wait listed candidate and July 1 passed = out of the game.

I think that on the wait-list chat, the adcom mentioned that international candidates should not put a date later than July 1st (I am assuming because of the visa issuing process length, etc...) If you are a dual citizen, I guess that's not relevant.

Edit - I heard from an Adcom that if you have not received any communication/notification, than technically you are still on the waitlist!
