There is a slight difference in the number of applications. It's in one of the INSEAD videos on youtube (can't link).

anyone received interview invitation for R1? Heard sometimes they would send out invitations two weeks earlier than notification ddl.

seems like the end of my INSEAD journey.
Y day got a couple of emails on executive MBA programs from INSEAD though I have never shown any interest in the executive programs.

I hope so :-) However, if you check the old posts in GMATclub then mostly who are dinged got these sorts of emails
might not be 100% true...but just getting mentally prepared
