Hello,

I got admitted in round 2 and I am trying to figure out what the first and second deposit amounts are. I can't seem to find it anywhere and my admission's packet doesn't get released title March 23rd.

Hello all! Hailing from Pakistan and made it into Tepper in Round 2 - Super excited to attend! Visa timelines would keep me from attending the welcome weekend which is a bummer

I am assuming the admission pack is some physical deck that will be couriered from across the globe?

I have a few non academic questions for you...

1) whats the travel culture like at tepper? Are there opportunities for both for-credit and social travel? Is there a pre-orientation trip?

2) Where do most students live? Do people tend to room with other students from the program, the university or alone?

3) Do you need a car in pittsburgh?

1) I didn't understand the travel question, can you clarify that?

2) I hope you are coming to Welcome Weekend and your questions will be answered with the housing guide. Besides, most of the full time students stay either in Shadyside or Squirrel Hill.

3) If you stay in these areas, you don't require a car. But in Winter, you might require. I don't have a car but in winter, I used to use more of Uber or Lyft.

I have not. And 3 grand is a lot to ask for an initial deposit (I think previously it was 1200, which is much more reasonable). Does anyone know if Tepper has made extensions on the deposit deadline or if it's something that can be paid in installments?

It was 3K for my batch as well. And do talk to Adcom about installments. As far as I know paying by installments is not available.

And do come to Welcome Weekend tomorrow and experience Tepper life
