Booth PT Essay Questions

Booth's 2nd question has me in a knot:
Quote:
At Chicago Booth we believe inquiry leads to big, bold ideas. We create a collaborative environment in which you will share, challenge and support each other’s ideas. Tell us about a time you had a “big, bold idea.” How did you come up with it, and how did you put it into action?
I'm curious if I could use my idea to switch careers as my 'bold idea'. It wasn't a dramatic switch but it did put me on a far more engaging and personally rewarding career path.
It could just be the looming application deadline but I'm coming up short regarding any big, bold ideas I've had in the past. Perhaps it's the untrue notion that such ideas should be in the realm of curing a disease or something equally amazing that's leaving me drawing a blank.
Any insight or comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Kudos
This is my two cents, granted I did not write the PT essay but just the regular one. I think switching careers is fine - it all depends on how you write about it. Why was it bold and big? What did it mean for you? What risks were involved? Is it not typical for someone on your previous path to go into this new field? Then what did you learn from it? Hope this helps.

Thank you for your input! It was after reading your post that I found a topic on which to write. My thanks!
