I submitted in May 2nd, with the video interview on May 5th. However my recommendations were submitted really late; they were in on the 17th of May only.

Last year I applied on the last day of Round 4, leaving fifteen minutes till the deadline. And I still got an interview invite! But a masters program accepted me a month before the interview. I decided to try a masters degree first to give some continuity my work experience, so I withdrew from the interview.

This year I have a GRE score that in conversion is better than my GMAT(which is both greater than 700), I enrolled in a Masters program, and I have an extra year of better experience. How likely is it that I wouldn't get an interview invite given the likelihood that I got one last August?

My AO is AN(Anne Nigl) by the way.

Did you get invited to reapply and did they give you a target intake?

Nope. I turned down the interview because a masters program in a pure academic subject accepted me. I'm finding an MBA to be a better fit than this so I reapplied.

Got an interview invite.

AO: EL

Btw does anyone know what INSEAD's acceptance rate looks like after interview? I found this which says something like 74+%:

Jealous! I'm really worried since I'm not even sure all my recommendations were submitted (AO says she received all of them, but my status page only confirms one.....) Last minute business is really icky I guess. But given the 74% on average, I think for January intake it's more than 80%, and for the low acceptance rounds (round 4 etc) it's probably 90% or greater.

Nonetheless I like INSEAD. It's one year, and it's a good a feeder into consulting as US M7 schools. And the 'international' ethos, whether nominal only or truly valued, fits me well (I've lived a third of my life overseas).

Good to see that nobody from my country got in/applied in Round 1 so far lol. Apparently at home the US bias for MBAs is severe so INSEAD isn't really sought after. All the better for me.

Where is home?

Actually with Trump at the helm this year there has been a drop of Indian candidates applying to US schools. I'd imagine this would translate to a higher applicant pool to the Euro schools from countries such as India.

I'm NE Asian. Only 7 people in September 2012 intake(the only data point I have). May be that applications have increased from home, but doubtful.
