12th- 68.6%
10th- 82%
Experience (4+ years)- Currently working as an application developer in Optum technology(Subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group ).
Achievements - Received first promotion in 11 months.
3 individual star awards, 1 team award, 1 Orchid(highest level of recognition for delivery excellence)
Corporate cricket participation.
Ran 5km Marathon for women health awareness.
NGO- Associated with SNCF NGO but never really did anything meaningful.

certification - Domain related (AHM250)

Other stuff:
I am product owner of an android app, which is in market for a year now. It has 1400 downloads now with a 4.6 rating. It was pushed in the market to test the waters, I have further plans to improve the same.
I am also working on another business idea with my partner which is in its initial stage(app development is in progress).
I have also worked as pro bono Business developer for a friend's service based startup.

GMAT- Scheduled on 7th of October. I got 660 and 680 in GMATprep tests, will try to reach 700.

I am not hoping to score more than 700 in upcoming exam, with this profile do i stand any chance this year?

Since you are applying to a bschool, it is assumed that you are a good software developer. It is important to show some traits of leadership and team skills from your job.
Given that, you should definitely apply this year. However, its difficult to suggest something concrete without knowing your post MBA goals and the final GMAT score. In your essays and resumes, do not show involvements with lots of activities. Instead just focus on a couple of them and clearly show the significant impact you had.
Clarity over career goals is highly important and goals should be something which has atleast few transferable skills from your current job.

Dont worry about your undergrad GPA now. Instead focus on scoring as high as possible on GMAT. You can even take up some alternate courses especially those which are graded.

Its difficult to predict your chances without spending at-least 30 minutes reading your application. You have a good profile. You should focus on boosting your GMAT and getting more clarity on your post MBA goals.

Abhishek,

Things look good as far as your stats are concerned. what will really matter is the quality of your application- your achievements and impact at work, career progression, clarity in career goals and real need for an MBA. Its tough competition and there are a bunch of people who apply with your background.

Hi Anagh,

A lawyer applying at ISB definitely adds to the diversity mix- so you get some big brownie points there. Be sure about your career goals- clarity on future goals will be crucial during the application and more during the interview.

How is the F&B business doing? we have been coming across an increasing number of applicants with full-time ventures and side ventures. While it's still of interest, there should be something solid to talk about.

All the best with GMAT

3 years of work experience is slightly on the lower side. You might have to show some traits of leadership both inside and outside your workplace. Its difficult to comment on your chances without knowing your Post MBA goals.

Thanks.

This thread is only for ISB profile evaluations. So we cannot provide other college recommendations.
Your age, post MBA goals, reputation of your firm, and GMAT score are missing.

Can you please analyze the profile for ISB only?
Age:25 years
Post MBA Goals: Consulting, Tech Consulting, Digital Marketing, Analytics.
Firm: SapientRazorfish acquired by Publicis group(One of the biggest advertising and marketing firms in the world).
GMAT Score: Yet to give GMAT. Aiming 720+.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

You are good from acads point of view especially after the 720 plus GMAT.

Goals: Make sure you find the transferable skills from your current job into IT Consulting. Do more research about the firms you want to get in Post MBA.

Others: Do not show too much of extra curricular. Show great impact in only one or two of them rather than showing mere participation in all of the activities. Do not give much emphasis to those technical certifications in your CV.

I help search & recommend investments to the team.

Questions:
1) ISB Round 1 possibility?
2) LOR from the Harvard guy or from a colleague who knows me well?

what work are you doing? what is your career progress? your work related achievements?
Is your investor experience some part-time assignment? What is the value of this work? Have you come up with recommendations that have led to some achievement?

ISB round 1 possibility- yes, why not!
LOR - ISB takes only one LOR, so I can't be too sure if the angel investor should be the right person to give it to you or someone else from your OEM job. I'll need more details to understand this. Also, it depends on what your career goals are. You would try to use that recommender who can swear by the qualities required in your post-MBA career.

Hi abhishek6390,

A well-balanced profile. Infrastructure as an industry and the international experience add value. A score of 710 is good for your profile too. What will help you further is well-articulated essays that show examples of leadership potential and characteristics that set you apart from others in your industry. Also, what are your goals? Make sure that your goals are well-mapped to what you have done so far and you are able to demonstrate a clear vision and career path. Hope this helps.
