So today's the day! Anyone got their admissibility results yet?

I too applied in round 1. 760 GMAT, 3.33 GPA, 8.5 IELTS and previously did the HEC Summer School as well, along with a bunch of extra curriculars.

yes today is the day . I think we will get our results late in the evening . It was 6pm Paris time last year . So let’s see .. all the best . Btw you have a great profile ..

I got a call for interview, and have scheduled it on 21st November.

Can anyone help me with the kind of questions that are asked in the interviews? It will be really helpful.

Check your application page everyone, the admissability results are out!

I got invited with a 720 GMAT and ~3.6 GPA (1.8 German scale).

sakshet and kozhops1, congrats guys ! I have mine for the 23rd.

Just wondering, what specializations are you aiming for ?

I have a 730 gmat with 3.4/4 gmat and almost 2 years work exp. Im aiming for the marketing specilaization

I have been a business founder and recently sold my venture. I have 4 years of overall work experience out of which two years are founding and running my small business. I am expecting a GMAT score of 700-720 and my GPA are a below average 3.0. Hopefully, I will get through.

Any preparation tips from the ones who are done with the interviews.

From my own experience and from what I've heard from other people that were admitted, the GMAT seems to be the most important factor. I think with 700+ you should have a decent chance if the rest of your profile is good. With something like 740+ you're pretty much 100% in. (Except maybe if you're Indian, but even than you should get in with that GMAT.)

I do feel like they don't care so much about the GPA as I and several other people I know have rather normal GPAs.

Lastly, I found that they also care about your professional experience and a little bit about the reputation of your university.

I strongly agree with the above. Also, I believe your background plays a big part as well as they like to have as much diversity as possible in the program.

To add what can truly make or break your admittance is your interview. My interview was quite tough and it was clear that they had thoroughly read my essays. If you say you are passionate about something, be prepared to demonstrate it with great detail. Interestingly enough, my interview questions were entirely based on my interests and hobbies while my resume and professional experience was largely ignored.

I think the interviews are not really standardized and strongly depend on the admission officer and the alumni. My interview felt more like an idiot test to see whether or not I have some basic social competence. It was really normal and relaxed with regular questions.

As for the questions, 80% of the time was spent on the questions from the mail (Why HEC? etc.) and the rest were some basic questions about my essays and CV. (Only very brief)

Keep in mind that the interviews are just 20-30 minutes, so they won't really grill you on anything.

Does anyone know how much is there correspondence between the admissibilty and the admission result? in other words, if you are admissible and invited to the interview, it is very likely that you will be admitted for the program or not?
