Happy New Year, everyone!

The new year vacation in US is approaching to the end. Not sure MIT staffs will be back to work couples hours later or not. Just hope the interview decision will be made in this week. If so, that will be very helpful to arrange an interview trip with full preparation.

It's said the adcom office is closed until Jan. 3, which means they will go bacl to work on Jan. 4. However, if I was one of them, I might take extra 2-day off so that I would have a super long vacation!

I applied to R2.

Is there anyone to get interview invitation?

I believe we must get invitation until next week considering interview scheduling on global location.

I have low GMAT(670) and GPA(2.9/4.0) although I feel confident of my career.

I guess they come back to work on Jan 4 since I get another email about information session. However, I don't have high expectation to know application result by the end of this week. Probably next week is a good time.

I don't think any R2 applicants get invitation by now. You may review this forum to confirm that.

According to MIT official website: MIT will reopen and resume normal operations at 7 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018.
That's due to the severe weather in east coast. So, R2 applicants, keep be patient and keep your fingers crossed! :thumbup:

We should probably know by 15th Jan , assuming they take one - two weeks to travel to the international destination and take another 2 weeks to make a decision
