We are still accepting applications for the September 2018 intake for the following areas of specialisation: Accounting, Decision Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Strategy, and Technology and Operations Management

Regardless of background, you can apply to any of the 8 areas of specialisation based on your research interests. Here are some tips that you can follow so that you can meet the deadline of January 02, 2018:

1) GMAT Test taker score report - you can use this to upload to your application, while we wait for the original score to reach us. This way, we can straight away download the scores from the GMAT website given the unique identifier details on your test score (saving us the time to coordinate with you on this). We can start our review in January given your test taker score report.

2) TOEFL test - if you already have your TOEFL test taker score report, you can use to upload this to the application. If you don't have it, you can schedule a TOEFL test in January, with the official scores to follow (indicate the institution code of 3244). Just mention on the supplementary information survey your future TOEFL test date. *Note that the TOEFL test is automatically waived if your degree's medium of instruction is in English (undergraduate or masters). Your transcripts from this degree will suffice as proof of waiver.

3) PDF copies of your transcripts - bachelor's degree is our minimum requirement, but if you already have your masters, you can also upload these. If your degree is still in-progress, you can upload your partial transcripts and indicate your expected date of graduation on the application form.

4) Recommendation letters - your referees can come from all academic or a combination of academic and industry references. We only need 3, and they have until January 2, 2018 to submit their online recommendation letters.

5) We do not require a research proposal. Rather, you only have to submt a 1,500 words essay or statement of purpose [SOP], which contains your research interests, research themes in relation to the area's research interests and how you leverage your background to it. Your SOP will showcase your value add to the programme. You can mention 2-3 faculty names who have inspired you to pursue such research, and would like to work with them in the future. There is no need to speak to a faculty or meet with them before applying.

6) Research experience is not a necessity to apply to the programme. But if you do have, be it as a form of undergraduate thesis or part of your professional work, you can mention that on your SOP.

Application deadline for INSEAD PhD 2018 intake is extended to January 10, 2018 French time zone.

Pls take this opportunity to finalize and submit your application by the deadline. Your referees can still submit the recommendation letters even after you have submitted your application. What's important is that your application is confirmed and submitted online by Jan 10, 2018.

To those who are just starting their application, you still have time to submit your application. Again, referees can still submit their online recommendation even after you have submitted your application.

Hello Corpguy,
Sorry for the delay in replying as we have been caught up with the completion of files and submitting it to the committee for review.
Yes, they are now distributed by area with the committee members for review.

Has anyone been receiving interview invites yet?

I know other schools such as Wharton (Management, Ops), Northwestern (Finance), Chicago (Finance) and Berkeley (MORS, IMS) have finished interviewing and have, in fact, posted decisions for admitted candidates.

Hi there again, CorpGuy.

At the moment, the various areas are reviewing the files. Our deadline was only very recent, Jan 14, 2019, thus, kindly allow them time to go through the files of applications.

This is nerve-racking. Last year, for INSEAD OB, interview invites went out by 5 Feb, and decisions were out by 20 Feb. I wonder whether interview invites have gone out this year yet...

AMJulatonINSEADPhD On GradCafe and Urch, people have reported INSEAD OB invitation for interview. I haven't heard at all - positive or negative. Can you share whether or not OB have reached out to shortlisted candidates to schedule interviews?
