Well folks, today is the day Chicago may start releasing interview invitations. I suppose most of them won't come out until late this week or early next, though. Best of luck to you all!

At least with Chicago we'll know within two weeks. Some of the other schools seem to be much more open ended...not naming names of course. Good luck to everyone!

Good luck to all! I did this last year and got an invite on the 18th day (invite period was 20 days). Do not lose hope as the days do go by!

Hey guys, I just got an email from Chicago GSB extending an invitation to interview! Looks as though they're starting to roll them out, as promised. Best of luck to everybody!

Congrats! The only GSB email I got today was talking about a Rose chat next week. Don't know why they like to send out other emails the first day of interview invites!

I received that one also. I got excited to see an email from GSB only to see it was a Live Chat notification.

Congrats on the invite. My app just went complete because of a delayed recommendation - so I probably have a long wait till Nov 12th to hear news either way.

I submitted on October 1st, though I can't recall when I went complete. I think it was complete sometime around mid-month, if I remember correctly.

In all honesty, from what I have observed and heard, I think that the earlier you get invited, the better your chances. I am not speaking about getting an invite on the 10th day rather than the 12th. I speak about the 1st or 2nd day vs all other days. Seems to me that admissions likes to interview top candidates early so that they can get a feel for a possible yield amongst those people.

I know that many people's apps went complete late and were probably read late. '

This is just an educated guess.

Maybe I am just going crazy and trying to think of conspiracy theories :) These types of things happen when the DOW jumps almost 900 points.

Same to you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for rest of GmatClub - I'm sure many more invites will come.
