To answer some questions:

I am not a Lauder applicant, I'm in the Midwest, and the call was not from an unknown number. I'm sure this will take all day given Wharton's large class size so hang in there people.

I would have preferred the mass early email, but at this point, Wharton has really killed my nerves in a way reminiscent of my dating life at the age of 14....

It's awfully quiet now. So as far as we can tell, they have only been calling HCM/Lauder/Euro applicants?

Nope, because I am none of those things. I did not apply to any special programs, last name is in the middle of the alphabet, live in Midwest. I really think it's random. Also my status has not changed in their system.

They have contacted people on the east coast USA that are regular MBA applicants. Dont know if there is a system to any of this.

Do keep in mind that it is 12:00 PM and might be lunch/break time in philly

Yup, lunch time on the East Coast :)

And we had barely any Gmatlclubber accepted, there is a lot of more to come, I am sure... Let's keep our hopes high (for now)

i just got the call as well and i am in!!! i'm soooo pleasantly surprised that they called early~~

for people's records, i'm out in the west coast so it's still the beginning of the day for me. this COMPLETELY made my week!
