At least they are doing this today rather than tomorrow when I'll be flying all day frantically waiting to land so I can check my messages. Unless they split it amongst today and tomorrow (not that unfeasible) - ahhh!

Ha-ha! Here's one more reason to apply to Lauder - saves you nerve cells on the D day.

Congrats to all new admits! PM me if you have any questions about anything that might be bothering you now, I know housing and moving your stuff to Philly is a major concern for most people. Nevertheless, all I can say now is Wharton's absolutely worth all the sunk costs (foregone salary, time and tons of debt), and your life will never be the same after you've been here.

i just got the call as well and i am in!!! i'm soooo pleasantly surprised that they called early~~

for people's records, i'm out in the west coast so it's still the beginning of the day for me. this COMPLETELY made my week!

looking at all the interviews, that would be a very low acceptance rate, I was expecting 25-30% at least. So I hope you are wrong! :wink:

Considering the acceptance rate was 16.7% last year of the R1s, that would come out to roughly 9 of the 54 GMAT clubbers who applied. So I'm hoping they've got a few more tricks up their sleeves.

Huge congratulations to those who've already gotten admit's by the way. You've got a great opportunity ahead!

guys I am in Europe now but I am usually located in Europe. I did not have my American Cell phone on yet I just turned it on now when I read this thread so not sure if to start freaking out. my status is still invited to interview, so not sure what to do. Do people who get the call get the email as well? what happens if they called you and your phone was turned off? does anyone remember from last year if the dings came out the same day?

So what's the deal guys? Are they calling folks in the West Coast first?

Seems like after the initial round of calls before noon EST, we haven't seen any other updates...
