Calling USC MBA.PM and UCLA FEMBA 2011 Applicants!!

Yes I meant May 1st. I applied April 30th

Hi Dear Hard Workers,

I just noticed that MBA.PM has added two more rounds:

- Round 3 June 1, 2011 June 1, 2011 June 30, 2011
- Round 4 July 1, 2011 July 1, 2011 space permitting

Does it mean more hopes for wait-listers?

I've been placed on WL on May 23; when would be the latest to give up hopes?
What are the chances to get in and how USC deals with WLers?
How should I communicate with them to hopefully make it happen?

I would say that the addition of the two extra rounds means that the program is definitely hoping to attract more applications. Whether that is for acceptance rates to decrease or because they don't have the accepted class they totally want- we may not find out. Regardless I do think it is a good sign for the WL-ers and I suggest you drop them a line and communicate your continued interest and any additional projects, promotions, etc going on in your life. Also if you know any Marshall alum, have them reach out on your behalf as well . Best of luck!

Just got the call about the USC PM program. I was accepted to the OC campus. I applied May 5th (four days past the original deadline). Looks like they want a deposit by June 10th, which means UCLA needs to hurry up and get some decisions out!!

Just got an email from UCLA FEMBA admissions. I am in. Just wanted to let you guys know that they have started sending out decisions.

Congrats Dunchess on locking in at least one option. You should hear shortly from UCLA as well. As ankur17 mentioned, they started sending out notices today in the afternoon.

Good to see one has the courtesy to send email to its applicants.

I haven't heard anything back from USC Marshall as of today and since march 27 (The date I've applied). They never responded to any of my 8 emails I had to find out myself about the Suplemental and SSS forms, since I couldn't find any knowledgeable person on the phone to answers my questions. I was transferred more than 10 times and still left with my tail between my legs. And finally, I learned about my status online, as I've been checking it everyday. Never received any kinds of notification from them what so ever.

They suppose to be very charming now to fill the classes; I'm not sure how they would take care of their students later, after you've already paid the damn 100k.

Is this a bad sign or something magical would happen after you are admitted?

I got the call too. In at both UCLA FEMBA and UCB EWMBA

Got into USC MBA PM .. Huh Finally ... My status just got updated

Congrats!! I got into FEMBA before the Memorial day break. Anyone in this last rd of admits decide what program they are going with?

I havent heard from UCLA yet ... where are you tending to ?

Are u in the LA campus ?

In the letter Dylan sent out he mentioned that there were still some more spots to be filled. I am leaning towards UCLA. I am not 100% sure I will be staying in California post graduation so I think UCLA has a bit more pull outside of our region. However USC does have an amazing network in LA/Socal.
