Please let me know if you have any questions about the USC MBA.PM program. I'm class of 2014. I have already attended a few events (i.e., meet and greet that I have put together, mixers, charities, etc.).

I'm sorry that you did not have a positive experience w/ the USC MBA.PM admission process. I know what you mean. I had a similar experience. I applied during R2 and was admitted (class of 2014). Improving the admission process is one of the things that I have already been trying to work on and will continue to work on until it gets better. Just got an email from UCLA FEMBA admissions. I am in. Just wanted to let you guys know that they have started sending out decisions.

Good to see one has the courtesy to send email to its applicants.

I haven't heard anything back from USC Marshall as of today and since march 27 (The date I've applied). They never responded to any of my 8 emails :wall I had to find out myself about the Suplemental and SSS forms, since I couldn't find any knowledgeable person on the phone to answers my questions. I was transferred more than 10 times and still left with my tail between my legs. And finally, I learned about my status online, as I've been checking it everyday. Never received any kinds of notification from them what so ever.

They suppose to be very charming now to fill the classes; I'm not sure how they would take care of their students later, after you've already paid the damn 100k.

Is this a bad sign or something magical would happen after you are admitted?

For USC's new admits, specifically R3 (R1 and R2 are welcomed, as well), who's interested in attending a little meet and greet? At the meet and greet, you can get most, if not all, of your admitted questions answered. Questions such as now what?, financial aids?, fun events?, overall program structure?, etc.

I havent heard from UCLA yet ... where are you tending to ?

In the letter Dylan sent out he mentioned that there were still some more spots to be filled. I am leaning towards UCLA. I am not 100% sure I will be staying in California post graduation so I think UCLA has a bit more pull outside of our region. However USC does have an amazing network in LA/Socal.

I was wait listed.

I re wrote my gmat but that didnt improve my score much and I got another reco from my director and I emailed saying how strongly i was interested in the program ..

Hi,

I've already been accepted the USC MBA.PM program, but I'm still waiting for a decision from UCLA's FEMBA program. Anyone else waiting on a decision from UCLA? I applied during R3, but unfortunately wasn't able to make it to the interviews.

Hi All

This is my first post to this forum though I am following it from the beginning.

I am in SFO working as a R&D Engg with 8 years of IT experience.

I have applied to UCLA FEMBA R3 and still waiting for the results.

I am a bit worried as I have relatively low GMAT. DO you think I have some chance

Yes I did. I plan to attend Saturday all day classes (If I get through). Will take Saturday early morning flight and then evening flight back .

I know at least 10 ppl who are doing FEMBA from SFO

I was admitted to USC's MBA.PM program, but the first "mandatory" weekend takes place on the same weekend I am getting married. When I called USC to enquire about what to do regarding this conflict, they basically told me I should either change the date of my wedding (not an option) or not attend this year's program.

I cannot imagine a pre-fall 1.5 unit class is SOO important that I couldn't miss 2 out of 6 days and still be able to manage. Obviously, I would prefer to be able to make it the whole weekend, as I imagine this is when many people will form groups and make friends, etc. However, I would be able to make it all day on Friday, miss Saturday (for wedding) and then make it at least most of the day on Sunday.

Regardless, I have been wait-listed for UCLA's FEMBA program and I am hoping that I get accepted, but I have not heard anything yet.

Does anyone know if UCLA has a similar mandatory pre-fall class that weekend (July 30th)? I hope not for my sake!

My brother is current FEMBA student at UCLA. He told me for this year the mandatory classes will be
August 30 – September 3, 2011.
