Hello Everyone, I applied to both the USC MBA.PM and UCLA FEMBA programs (round 2, 2011). Had an interview at UCLA last week, and it went quite well. The interviewer was pretty cool. He made me want to attend UCLA even more. Any round 2 applicants out there just waiting for the decision dates for either the USC MBA.PM or UCLA FEMBA program? The decision dates are not coming fast enough!! Right? The anticipation is quite... interesting. Hahaha

Thanks socalmba! I ended up calling them too, but they couldn't confirm the hours. Either way, I'm going to have to get out of my business trip somehow. I was scheduled to be out of state 7/28 - 7/31...

Just got off the phone w/ the USC office, below are the two pre-fall events' dates. We need to attend both of the pre-fall events. I was also told that more info will be in the admitted packet.

I received the acceptance call for MBA.PM R2 a few days ago! I'll be attending the first year at the OC campus.

Does anyone know when the pre-fall intensives are? I have a business trip at the end of July and I want to make sure there isn't a scheduling conflict.

Hi Everyone,

First, congrats to all that got accepted at either (or both) USC or UCLA!!

I applied to both the MBA.PM and FEMBA programs for round 2. Just found out yesterday that I got wait listed at USC. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm really not sure what this means, haven't been able to contact the admissions office yet. If anyone can add color it would be much appreciated.

Hello All,

Congrats to all the applicants (admitted, WL, Declined, yet to be notified). We have all made a HUGE commitment in the MBA application process and if you are even thinking about getting a Masters Degree, you are an overachiever.

I have just been admitted to the USC.PM program this morning. Extremely excitied and relieved that I got the phone call! I am decidiing between matriculating into either USC.PM or the Columbia MSRED program. (sidenote: i have a startup so I can work remotely, therefore the location of my Masters program is not as important)

I will be making my decision soon but if I enroll into USC I hope to network and meet all of you.

Hi Aks1234,

I applied to the LA campus (live downtown).

I was able to speak to the admissions office and they encouraged me to send them an email stating my continued interest in the program. I emailed them last week and received confirmation today that my status has been updated. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend sending them an email. It may help them reconcider your application once they've determined that they can take on more students.

Based on my experience with the full-time program at USC, I think they save all the dings for the deadline. I was dinged and didn't find out until the deadline. Furthermore, I didn't hear of anyone getting dinged before the deadline. Although, it could just be that the people who got dinged didn't want to share that news on a forum.

There's still plenty of time though. There were plenty of people getting good news days before the deadline. I'm right there with you, waiting to hear from UCLA FEMBA. Fingers crossed and best of luck!

I think you are right. I also haven't heard of anyone getting dinged before the deadline. Either way, I'm still holding on to hope that I might hear something before the May 4th.
