Have you considered a Masters in Management like that offered by Duke or LBS? Check them out. They could be an excellent fit for you if you don't want to work just to gain experience. Alternatively get a masters in another area that does appeal to you. And get high grades in this program. Then work at something you want to do and apply in a few years for an MBA.
While an MBA is an opportunity to meet and learn from some incredibly talented people, you have to first show that you belong in that group and can contribute to the growth of those incredibly talented people.
