so lets assume a profile of a guy ( say ajay)
scored low GPA range 2.3- 2.8 (non iit , non NIT)
has good GMAT score 720 - 740 (balanced score)
is a indian student who has done b tech
wants to build a alternative Transcript
has just graduated and doesnt want to work in industry (construction) in which he has done his Btech (civil)
inclined towards finance and want to peruse in that
believes he would be wasting time in doing job he doest likes just to gain experience
is aiming for top colleges like Wharton , Booth , Kellogg , HBS
so what could be your advise for ajay
what courses would you recommend for alternate transcript + any other tips ?
according to ajay MBA is more than just a learning experience it is an opportunity to get exposure ..to meet the best in the corporate word
to make friends and contacts that will help him life long

Have you considered a Masters in Management like that offered by Duke or LBS? Check them out. They could be an excellent fit for you if you don't want to work just to gain experience. Alternatively get a masters in another area that does appeal to you. And get high grades in this program. Then work at something you want to do and apply in a few years for an MBA.
While an MBA is an opportunity to meet and learn from some incredibly talented people, you have to first show that you belong in that group and can contribute to the growth of those incredibly talented people.
