I would definitely recommend Darden and NYU. They both have much better relationships with banks than Duke does.
NYU is a place you should definitely apply to!

Hello,

I am trying to decide to apply to two of these three schools. I have the CFA, my stats are in range for these schools. I want to do investment management, research, after school. Which of these is better than the others. All three are great, just not sure if I have time to apply to all of them.

Thanks

I am tempted to write that the right answer is: Find the time to apply to all three :)
It's a tough call honestly. It's true that Darden and NYU are more hooked up with finance jobs, but Duke has the better overall name.... and there are other considerations.... meaning it is hard to give a straight answer without knowing the details of you and your applications.

I would go NYU, UVA, and then Duke in that order. I would lead with trying to get your NYU and UVA applications in (and well crafted) then time permitting see if you can pull something together for Duke
