Congrats! and would like to ask.. What is the deadline for completing the interview once receive it? a week?

Are reapplicants dinged by Stanford? Thinking of Yolo-ing this round and reapply again next year

Any deferred MBA applicants in Round 1?

Some stats about me: Pakistani citizen. Top business school in Pakistan. GRE 335. Extra-curriculars: Student Council Elected Batch Rep and Entrepreneurial Society. Internships: FMCG (Consumer Goods), Finance, and Non-profit + entrepreneurship.

Does the application status in the portal change to “in review” for those who have received invitations? Or anyone seen that?

Or does yours still say “submitted”?

Hi, I have not received an interview invite. However, I have had my application in review since the Round 1 deadline. I submitted around Sep 1, and the status changed from submitted to in-review day after the deadline. I also got an email from Stanford stating that interview invites will be sent by email, and the status of the application will likely be updated on Dec 8 with the final decision.

Looking at past admission tracker data it appears that the bulk of interview invites are mid to late October for Stanford. The admissions email that is also posted on this thread mentions late September to mid-November as the timeline for interview invites.

I believe it'll turn into in review for everyone soon.

Congratulations, KodlakWhitemane!! And best of luck with the interview! For what it’s worth, I was rejected one year, then was admitted (and attended) the following year (a long time ago!).

Doesn’t everyone’s status say “in review”?

Were the first batch of interviews conducted?

According to Stanford’s email on the subject, the interview invites will continue to be rolled out until mid-November

Same for one of my clients, dinged and then submitted the following cycle and was accepted. Just started. We submitted the application on the deadline. He did bring up his test score a bit, which I feel helps get an objective new look if reapplying the following cycle.

Good Day everyone, I am Sodiq from Lagos, Nigeria. I am currently writing my application for R2. I really need someone to help me evaluate the strength of my application as I am still contemplating on whether or not to give Stanford a shot. Stat: GMAT 730 ((Q50,V39. IR 8). Work experience: Big 4 accounting (2 yrs), start up(2 years), Teaching (1 yr). Extra curricular: National round finalist, Business case competition (Led the team), I have also led various social projects. Let me also point it out that I am a 1st generational graduate with a compelling personal stories

I am not an expert, but I do not think increasing your GMAT would give you significantly better advantages. You have what seems to be a good profile, even if the WE is not as glamarous it is still great. I think you should focus on developing a good essay
