Sure, 750 GMAT and T2 consulting. And best of luck to everyone! Super surprised to have gotten the invite so early (if at all!). Many more invites are still yet to come!

They can’t be reading the applications really carefully as they got 2-3k apps so it can be a real gamble of having your profile chosen for an interview … congrats on getting it!

Bumping this up -

Thinking of applying R2. Anything I can do to improve my odds?

Applying from India, Ivy League Undergrad, Female, 3.7 GPA, 740 GMAT (42V, 48Q), 5 yoe
Currently work in PE/VC; Have decent leadership experience; Previously at a T-2 Consulting firm in the US

Short-term goal: Return to my current tech PE/ VC fund in a more senior role;
Long-term goal: Lead my family's non-profit venture and spin-off tech venture focused on impact

Apart from actually submitting an application, I don’t think there is much you can do except make sure your essays are top notch.

Yes, I think a few of applicants started receiving invites since late Sep as the site says.

Re: Calling all Stanford MBA Applicants: 2024 Intake Class of 2026 [#permalink]
Quick question about the GSB application and test score reporting:

I manually reported my test score in the application and also sent my official score to the GSB many weeks before the deadline. Should my Application Status Portal indicate anywhere that my official score has been received? For example, the portal indicates that recommendations and transcripts have been received but does not mention official test scores.

Thanks!

these might be a random question, but if I got an invite to HBS, are my odds good to get one at Stanford?

It is an independent probability unless Stanford knows the admission result of HBS. Your probability of getting an interview didn't change due to HBS result in anyway.

I'm also curious if HBS and GSB filter for personality or won't admit if they think you are a good fit for the other school? I received an interview invite for GSB last week but received 'further consideration' at HBS today. Target post-MBA career is entrepreneurship, currently work in finance.

You mean if you are a good fit for any school like UCLA, HBS won’t admit you? Or you mean good fit for Stanford?
