Good for you for raising your GMAT score. That will definitely help. Since you have time before you apply, I'd advise several things in order for you to "have what it takes." First, evaluate your goals beyond a "career in consultancy or entrepreneurship." What do you really want to do with your life? Accepted recently held a webinar on
"The Art of a Gripping MBA Goals Essay" that might help you in this regard. Second, take advantage of every leadership opportunity that comes your way in your professional and extracurricular activities. Build experience working with people. Finally, attend all information sessions that you can to learn more about programs at different schools. This will help you evaluate your "fit" with various schools.
