Lets put some values to the line segment.

Let \(PS = 4\)

\(Q\) is the midpoint of the line segment \(PS\).

\(PQ = QS = 2\)

\(R\) is the midpoint of line segment \(QS\).

\(QR = RS = 1\)

\(PR = PQ + QR = 2 + 1 = 3\)

Required fraction \(= \frac{PQ}{PR} = \frac{2}{3}\)

Answer (B)...

Assume length of the line=4
PQ=2=QS(Q is the Mid Point)
QR=RS=1(R is the Mid Point)
PR=PQ+QR=3
PQ/PR=2/3
