here are my answers

21-b 22-c 23-d 24-e 25-c 26-b 27-c 28-e 29-d ( b/w a and d; both sound awefull finally taking D) 30-c

Your answer to Q 29 is wrong try again with logic and not by sound....

(A) for the building of eighty cathedrals, five hundred large churches, and some
(B) in order that they might build eighty cathedrals, five hundred large churches, and some
(C) so as they might build eighty cathedrals, five hundred large churches, and some
(D) so that there could be built eighty cathedrals, five hundred large churches, and
(E) such that they could build eighty cathedrals, five hundred large churches, and

ok here's what I think , B,C,E are off bcoz 'they' doesn't have a antecedent and--- (in order that , so as, such) are either redundant or do not indicate purpose
so this leaves us with A and D

I think the construction in A should be 'for building' NOT 'for the building of '
in D so that indicates purpose but there could be built is a awkward construction .

ok , D also has a change in meaning [could be built vs for building] could--capability , so original meaning changes and 'for the building of ' used in A is gramatically correct
so A

well I think so far we have done 30 questions , you should only post 20 more today. then we will have a 50 question set. each one can compile his/her takeaway per question and the inputs can be put together ,to get a nice neat list. This will be gr8 while reviewing the questions. what say? btw nice work and we got some good discussion going

Thing is that is that i do not want to waste time there are 250 questions in OG 10 SC....but it sounds good I ll post another 20 by afternoon hpe by that we will finish the present set........

Archit 123

is not important the quantity but the quality. Instead, makes a bank of questions, maybe tough and tricky, and then post this set. I think could be more focus on

great job by the way

I agree that quality over quantity is important ,hence the takeaway bit is necessary.
I am sure there will be a lot of overlapping questions in OG 11 and 12 so we can only disscuss the ones that are NEW and of Medium and difficult variety, such as the last 40-45 questions

They has no referent had it been french than it would have referant.
Coming to wrong usage
In GMAT i think Such...that is not prefered Such ...as is only used which is used to present example
So...that is correct usage So..as is wrong usage

Remember we must not stray from our aim lets discuss the whole OG and take ways's and rest we can discuss later

Can't we call combine these exercises into one--- the meaning sets posted by carcass and og 10 questions posted by Archit143 to make a good collection along with takeaways?

ideally if one has the time one should disscuss each og question because the official explainations aren't good enough but they will be far too many questions to disscuss, so i suggested that we disscuss only the questions with medium and hard difficulty

Post your questions here from OG 10. Once you have finished I'll create a new post with only the questions and the OAs.

As such, it will be more useful to understand and manageable for all users

Try to avoid ALL questions it is a waste of valuable time, the best SCs are much better.
