Hello bb ........ may be I am overthinking again!!

Below are the 1st 2 things I've noticed after the change :
1. The New GMAT timer stat is looking a bit jumbled up( only at RC)
2. Peoples GMAT Scores are looking a bit jumbled up ( its in 1 line at their profile ...... but in 2 lines at the replies)
(currently neither of them are any easier to read than pre-font change era)

Hi bb

Perfect size and easy on the eyes. Agree with SajjadAhmad - CAT format had a better font size and this is a positive change.

Thanks.

Just a suggestion. For RCs, it would be great if the passage window could be of the same size with the same size font similar to that of the official GMAT RC, just so we could have the same feel of solving a RC on GC as we would on an official test. For example, if the official RC window can display 300 words without scrolling, then RC windows on GC should show the same amount of words if possible.

Thanks!
Funny enough, I have increased the RC box earlier today. Can you find an example of an official RC that fits a box and I will match it on GMAT Club?
You can PM me the screenshot or post it here.

BUMP, dabaobao

bb Please find screenshots of 3 RCs from the online GMATPrep software attached below. My browser is set to 100% zoom. So maybe we can these screenshots to get an idea and adjust the font, width and length of the RC passages on GC accordingly. I believe the official exam looks similar to the online GMATPrep with zoom set to 100%.

Thank you! I think it is well matched now (I made a few small tweaks to the box sizes)

Screenshot 1: https://gmatclub.com/forum/many-politic ... 37377.html - Fits!

Screenshot 2: Does not fit on Your screen :-) https://gmatclub.com/forum/historical-d ... 32340.html - it cuts off at the exact same point in the forum

Screenshot 3: https://gmatclub.com/forum/when-the-obj ... 31027.html - Fits!

Thank you. The GMAT Score overhand and RC timers have also been fixed.
At this point all suggestions and issues appear to be addressed (though it is normal for additional things to come out as we keep updating things so please report them here).

Thanks!

Thought about exactly the same thing when I noticed the verbal score being displaced on the next line! It is kind of annoying and maybe needs a minor fix. However, the posts are looking fabulous with the new font size.

Cannot agree more . The visual experience of the learning/post content is amazing now. The ones I've mentioned are really trivial and/or aesthetic.

Thank you u1983. I caught that as well yesterday and we already have an update in the queue ready to be released for the GMAT Score alignment as soon as there is some slow time on GMAT Club - probably in a few hours.

Thanks for the tip about RC timer - that was new to me.

BB.

bb

I went to my favourite site this morning to start my weekend with my usual RC practice (https://gmatclub.com/forum/no-one-can-s ... 80295.html), and I realized that the RC box has become way too small (Screenshot attached) :(

This smaller box experience is totally not reflective of the real exam experience. As discussed before, having a RC box size that can display around the same number of words as seen in the real exam helps in easily figuring out if it's a long or a small passage and helps in deciding how much to skim vs how much to read.

Could we please increase the RC box to the original size as done earlier? Not sure if this change is a bug or it's intended to be done for some reason.
