Olin appears to send out interview invitations at different times for each candidate even if they apply at the same time.
Is the interview invitation by Olin sent in the order of strength evaluation of application package?

Well, not really. Don't read too much into timing of interviews. In fact, many of the people who got later interviews got better scholarships..


An alumnus told me that the scholarship decision process at Olin is a little bit different from other schools. It seems Olin gives many more scholarships to admitted students in later rounds to attract them and fill up the class. Is this true?

Hi Livia, I submitted on Nov 14th and got interview on Dec 6th. I think they still will send out interviews in coming weeks. don't lose hope!!

I don't think your GMAT score was responsible. Your score is slightly above the average. Who took your interview? Mail him/her and ask for feedback. Write something like that you would like to reapply next year and on what you should be concentrating to improve your chances.

They have just finished with R1 and started with R2 a few days ago. You should hear something soon.
