hi all,
i attended the assessment on the 26th and it was a great experience. we were seven of us, and it helped to catch up a day before. the nationalities of each were lebanese, german (dual nationality, also french), 2 americans and 3 indians (!!). the people from india, including me were obviously nervous about the representation but IMD did clarify that it doesnt happen usually.
The day was interesting and started off with an impromptu case study followed by personal interviews. we later were each paired with a current student at IMD for lunch, where we could speak at length on any concerns, perspectives. The lunch at IMD is awesome, i realized and i now understand why its such a talking point at all forums.
Afternoon session was another case study with an IMD professor who moderated the discussion. unique and a good way of judging the suitability of the candidates to the program. it was a great experience and worth the time irrespective of the outcome.
we've had 3 dings in the team, and 1 offer. the other 3 (including me) are still waiting for the final result with bated breath!
on a IIel note, i think this forum needs a shakeup. Can people who have attended the interview speak about their experiences as well (ppl who attended, process, dings/offers)? im sure other prospective students can only benefit!
