The day was extremely well-organized, and the admissions officers were very friendly. I was quite surprised with the atmosphere at the interview and during the case discussion. All the applicants had extraordinarily strong profiles and performed so well! The only thing that I don’t really get - after everyone performed so well how it is possible to choose from those people? I would say that almost each of them is good enough for the top MBA program. I think IMD admissions have a tough time choosing “right” people Again, this shows the class is not about 90 best people, but about the best group of 90 - like they say somewhere in the brochure / website. So if an applicant doesn’t receive a call this most probably means they found someone else who fitted better or who made the student body more diverse. Well, I might be wrong or trying to calm myself down this way, but this is the impression that I’ve got during the day.
