For internationals, deadline to send transcripts is may 15th. hopefully there will be enough time for visa paperwork to attend the Language Institute in early July. The school says they will work to get those admitted in time for the start of program, but still freaks me alittle...

ahh, I thought about officially starting my refreshing-status page routine this morning, but decided against it - in round 2, I got my decision online few minutes before the Duke email.

Ah! refreshing my status page is too stressful in addition to the phone checks! I might just forgo that one for the sake of my sanity for the email watch vigil.

What time is reasonable expectation? I would have thought that it would have been closer to 9am... Any views from others re time?

Last year, in round 3, the email didn't come until 4PM EST. I doubt that we will get an email before we get a call - maybe we will get a call today and email tomorrow - maybe both tomorrow - maybe both today......there are so many probabilities.

Does anyone know do they call internationally based applicants also or I should just go on and check email every 5 minutes. And as I already said, that little blackberry red light is a *complain*. :D

They changed everything last round, I dont think anyone knows for sure...

In round 2, they called internationals before they called domestic

I shall keep starting at my phone until 6pm EST. I shall start back again tomorrow morning at 8am EST and keep staring at my phone until I get the status update email. If still WLed, I shall start writing my next update letter and calling alums/current students for more shout-outs.

Failure is not an option!

Fair enough, well good luck tomorrow, I think it's safe to say there will be no word today (unless they randomly decide to call people after work today! No no, lets take a break from hoping for a call).
