Does anyone know if IMD has equal intake in all rounds similar to INSEAD?I specifically wanted to know about the difference in applying between June 1(Round 3) and August 1(Round 4) this year.

Dinged..!! :(:( Didn't manage to differentiate my profile among the many Indian IT profiles I guess. One learning based on letter from Lisa is that you folks need to choose the right deadline especially if your profile belongs to a more popular group geographically/professionally like I have (Indian IT male). 1st and 2nd deadlines should be avoided as most Indians would apply during these deadlines.

Re: IMD 2014 - Calling All Applicants [#permalink]
Greetings!

Congratulations to all who have got an invite for the Assessment Day...

Quick Introduction:

Nationality: Indian
GMAT:700
WE: 6.5 years
Industry: Financial Services (Leading IB)
Deadline: June

Had a couple of queries:

1.) Does IMD let you submit an additional 4th Recommendation? If yes, how does one go about submitting it?
2.) Once the recommenders receieve the Recommendation template, are they expected to fill it handwritten? or are they allowed to type it in and take a print?(Pardon me for the seemingly foolish question :))
3.) Does anyone of you have an idea on the tentative dates for the Assessment day for folks applying in June? I am planning a trip to Switzerland but want to keep it close to the Assessment day dates. (Just in case I get an interview invite :))

Wish all the folks applying in June good luck with the applications. And to all my friends flying to Singapore for the Assessment day - Crack the interview!! All the best

@Neerz, Sorry to hear. I myself am an Indian and waitlisted since R1.

But interesting point from you, I thought applying early would mean a better probability. Given the fact that they would have chosen 3 to 4 Indians in the class by R3, the probability of admission reduces drastically with later rounds.

Re: IMD 2014 - Calling All Applicants [#permalink]
Terribly slow IMD thread this year...

I was in Lausanne last week for my interview day (haven't head back yet). Intense, but very rewarding. A great group of potential MBA students and some very interesting discussions. The two case sessions does not only test the applicants, but are also a learning opportunity.

One advice is to try to meet up the day before. During the interview day you'll work closely with the other applicants and knowing them a bit beforehand can help the teamwork.

Other than that, the blog from Marshmallow at https://imdexperience.blogspot.com is spot on.
