Can you anyone speak to the strength of the USC network? I have heard about it being pitch around a lot. If possible, do you think the network can help my girlfriend (soon wife) find a job in Los Angeles? We would like to move to Los Angeles, but she is worried whether she can find a job in Los Angeles.
I heard Georgetown McDonough has job searching resources for spouses of students. I wonder if USC has something similar.
Any thoughts?
Hi Dragoneyes, if you really want to stay in LA, then USC shall be the one to choose, considering two years of networking in DC/MD but not in LA, will that bring you and/or your wife any better opportunities to a job? Maybe not. So, like the Trump said, Location! Location! Location! If you want to stay in LA, then go to LA first, and then all the network will start to work, otherwise ... really not very sure. Also, please remember not one school will provide you a one-stop service, it is mostly your individual networking efforts and willingness bring you what you really want. Hope this helps a little.
