The waiver states that "...Act of 1974 allows you to access your educational records if you enroll at Yale. You may waive your right of access to this specific report if you choose."
My guess is that you have to actually enroll at Yale and then request to view it - that's how I interpreted it. On the other hand, you can ask your recommenders for a copy if they allow that.

Yes this is correct. I was just going to ask why you didn't waive your right to view them? The only way you will get the view them is if you are admitted so they are likely to be good anyway. It is much better to waive your right and just ask your recommenders to share them with you because you don't want to give the school any impression that you have influenced your recs.
