Hi guys,
Just submitted my application for R3. Hope it is not too late. Anyone here is coming from China/Taiwan/HK?
I want to know if I failed to achieve a 700 GMAT and got a low grades for some calculas courses at College, would I be disadvantaged when applying to MIT? Should I try MSx instead? Apparently I am not an exam-smart person.
Some basic info of myself: 11 years of experience in investment banking. Previously a lead equity research analyst at one of the bugle bracket investment bank in Asia, covering a sector with US$1trn market cap. Led few signature Pre-IPO education campaigns, raining more than US$8bn. Now a CIO of a start-up focusing on blockchain/crypto crowdfunding. Raised 10m USD in our first round fundraising. CFA charterholder. Got a master’s degree in finance with distinction at a top 10 school in the U.K.. Not great undergrad grades but strong extra curricular leadership experience. Problem is I failed my GMAT!! Only 660! I hope I could get an interview.
