I just completed my SFMBA interview . It was Rod Garcia himself . In my view it went well . He gave me some guidance points at the end for my startup idea . Let keep fingers crossed . Anyone else finished interviews .

Hi all

Visiting this thread after many days.

Good luck to all R2 applicants. Results should be out in next ten days.

Wonder what percentage of total class size is admitted in each round R1-R2-R3. Is it 40-40-20%?

Assuming 40% of total students admitted in R2 and several others placed on waitlist Rod Garcia has to make 50 calls. Not too bad.

Will they notify both admits and rejects the same day?
Admits - call, rejects - e-mail?

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Just submitted my application for R3. Hope it is not too late. Anyone here is coming from China/Taiwan/HK?

I want to know if I failed to achieve a 700 GMAT and got a low grades for some calculas courses at College, would I be disadvantaged when applying to MIT? Should I try MSx instead? Apparently I am not an exam-smart person.

Some basic info of myself: 11 years of experience in investment banking. Previously a lead equity research analyst at one of the bugle bracket investment bank in Asia, covering a sector with US$1trn market cap. Led few signature Pre-IPO education campaigns, raising more than US$8bn. Now a CIO of a start-up focusing on blockchain/crypto crowdfunding. Raised 10m USD in our first round fundraising. CFA charterholder. Got a master’s degree in finance with distinction at a top 10 school in the U.K.. Not great undergrad grades but strong extra curricular leadership experience. Problem is I failed my GMAT!! Only 660! I hope I could get an interview.

That is a very powerful profile . May I ask which country is your start up focussed in . I think you have a very good chance with this profile .

Agreed. You have powerful profile. GMAT is not the problem but if you are not a US citizen and need a visa applying now may be an issue.
