Hello everybody,

I am in the application process for round 2 and stuck with shooting the video statement.

This is the instruction... "We recommend using an application such as QuickTime or i-Movie to record yourself."

These applications captures the entire desktop and the video appears only in one of the corners. I was wondering if the video has to be captured is through the webcam with inbuilt windows application first, and then imported into Quick Time or i-Movie.

Kindly suggest.

Regards,
Bhagwat

Hello!

Any additional insights from your interview in India? Hopefully it went well!
My interview was about 20-25 mins, and reading to some other posts here I am quite worried if it was way too short...

My interview lasted for about 40 mins. The interviewer first asked me questions around my application and why I want to do an MBA and what do I intend to do after my MBA. This was followed by some behavioral questions and finally a chance for me to ask questions to them.

Best of luck to everyone who are waiting for Round 1 results.

mitsfmba2020 is your firm sponsoring your 1 year MBA?

Hello Lokesh,

Good to hear about your interview, and happy that it went well!

No, my firm is not sponsoring my MBA, so it would be self-funded - if I get admitted.

How about you?

I also took the video using a mobile camera with the help of a friend! :)

When will R1 decisions start coming out, folks? They say applicants will be notified by Dec 17. Does that mean they can release decisions before Dec 17?

For those who have been invited to interview, how did you score on EA? I am worried with my 155 that I won't even get to interview during R2.

I think your EA score sounds really great, I am sure they will call you for interviews! You can check out some of the scores discussed earlier in this thread.

Just be confident, and proceed with the application, you will do well! :)

I sure hope so! It is still just a theory that they accept candidates with scores <155.

From what I understand they look at an individual from all perspectives. EA score is just one of the attributes. What you have achieved in your 10+ years of work experience counts for a lot. At the same time the clairty on why you want to do a MBA at this point in your career is very important for them. They want to make sure that a MBA will really help you achieve your goals.

So my two cents would be to focus on portraying your strengths and achievements in the right light and at the same time convey your purpose of doing a MBA now.

Best of luck for your application.

I think there is no news yet, hoping for the best now!

All the best for the Round-2 applicants, especially with the deadline fast approaching! :)
