So, based on the trend I’ve seen on this and other booth part time posts, seems like the longer it takes to hear back after the interview the less likely it is that you’ll get admitted :( true??

My dates:
Applied for summer: 3/25
Heard back on scheduling an interview: 3/27
Interview: 4/2
Decision: Still pending

From what I’ve seen most people that got admitted heard back a few days after the interview.

Nah I don't think it's that simple. I understand the anxiety, but there are plenty of cases where acceptances came in at the 6 week mark. Could be something like my interviewer just filed their feedback quickly, and yours may be very busy at the moment. Good luck.

Agree with this...give it some time. They say it typically can take 4-6 weeks, so they are giving themselves some flexibility. Could be the interviewer feedback as was stated, or could be that Admissions Committee is extra busy with other stuff and not as quick to finalize apps right now.

Here was my timeline (a bit longer than the few days others have had, but still quick compared to the expectation they set):

3/6 Submitted Application
3/15 Interview Invite
3/21 Interview
4/1 Notification of Acceptance

Good luck!

Hey all,

For those who’ve received a decision was it an email or call?

From the decision tracker I see it’s mostly done over a phone call but rwh91 or tonguesout25 or hiteshreddyr94 can confirm

I got an email, portal update and a phone call at 5pm central on 29th. Did not answer the call so they left a VM. Called them in the morning. Got an email that I have a portable update.

kt1605 your profile looks terrific, your stats are good, and obviously you have achieved a lot in terms of your career. I’m wondering what your goal is? Or reasons overall for doing this. And are you actually going to like fly every weekend or something or actually relocate to Chicago. I don’t know about you our hubbies extracurriculars all of the things outside of business school that make you you, and they actually have a whole essay on that topic so make sure to keep that in mind. Even though your stats are good you are overrepresented and make sure to really differentiate yourself and bring Yourself to life, in your application, to adcom. If it’s true I would recommend that you mention that you’re willing to help part-time Booth students who are striving for MBB or consulting in general. Demonstrate your willingness to contribute to the success of others.
