Did you have your interview? How'd it go? I'm in the same boat for the EMBA. It was my first app and I'm still working through 4 other apps throughout October. I didn't expect this fast of a turnaround from submission to invitation!

I asked to have it 9 days later and that’s what we did. The interview was quite relaxed, mine was with a current student. At least for regular MBA it truly is a behavioral evaluation, aka “what is it like talking to this person?” They aren’t trying to trip you up or question you and ask hard questions they just want to see what you’re like to converse with since nothing else in the application process can really tell them that. Definitely prepare for it, but if it’s like regular Mba it isn't meant to be “hard” the same way the rest of the application process is.

Hi Thanks for sharing this. Was it a blind interview or had the interviewer read your application ?

I applied yesterday to Booth's Part-Time program and received an email today about scheduling an interview. The email just said "let me know a couple of times that work for you for a 30-45 min discussion." Honestly, I haven't had much time to prepare for the interview and want as much time as I can to prepare. How long is it appropriate to push out? For instance, I am thinking of saying I have availability next Thurs. or Fri. But is that pushing out too long, or could I push out longer? I just have no idea. Thanks!
Hey, did you get admitted eventually? How many days after the interview did you receive the notification? Thank you. All the best.

Does no activity mean there is a separate thread or just no active members applied to Kellogg's E&W?

Hi Anthony,

Would you be comfortable sharing your experience with the Booth interview? Who did you meet? How did you feel the interview went? In your opinion, what went wrong and what could you been have done better? Also, some background about your profile would be helpful.

Thank you and all the very best.

I'd highly appreciate it if I could get some constructive feedback from you on my application profile for Booth Weekend MBA (Summer/Fall 2021). Many thanks in advance!

Please help me decide on:
1.) whether I should give GMAT another try;
2.) areas I could still improve on to increase my odds.

Background:

- Online GMAT: 700, (Q49, V36, 4)

- Work experience:
I. 3.5 yrs corporate finance/financial reporting role at a top-tier private equity firm; promoted twice in 3
yrs (fast-track promotion at this firm)
II. 2 yrs big 4 accounting firm (audit)

700 GMAT is a pretty solid score, so I don't think another 20 - 30 point up really make a difference. I have a friend who scored 740 and got rejected, but some with 660 got accepted. So it is really about your overall profile instead of merely GMAT score.

MYEBK you posted this a couple weeks ago but if you’re still in the process of making a decision I absolutely think you should go for it. I’ve gotten people into this program with much lower stats and a profile that might not be quite as impressive as yours in terms of work background. Of course you need to articulate that correctly through the application but you have raw material from what I’m seeing here.
