CONGRATS MAVERICK!

Don't get upset by this, would you really want to sit in a class room that is made up mostly of the same type of people? Diversity bring far more to an MBA program than you realize. As someone who had almost no diversity in their previous experiences, I love it. Some of my best friends here are from all over the world. They are amazing people who I never would have met without this place.

Aye Aye river! I'm still amazed every day by how diverse the classroom is and how much I'm learning from my peers from different countries, different backgrounds, and different thought processes. I really appreciate the business schools that put an effort into forming these types of learning environments, even if it hurts some demographics.

I think everyone who was at DAK ended up attending.

Kellogg R2: 34 applicants
Tally: Admits: 9 Dings: 17 Waitlist: 4 unknown: 3
GMATclubbers in the class of 2010: 4

Admit rate: 31.7% vs 19% published acceptance rate
Yield: 70%

Wow, crazy! Didn't know that 10 out of 11 R1 people attended but only 4 out of 9 for R2 (I guess that included terry12, ujjib, myself, and tj, wonder who was the 5th that didn't go).

Ahh memories of DAK II, that was fun. :)

Ouch, I knew I should've goofed off a little more during undergrad. Maybe on those Thursday nights when I was studying, I should've been thinking of my future and been out at the bars. Regrets ... :-D

BTW, +1 for putting this together ...

How much of a difference do you guys think one's chances are affected when applying during Round I, II, & III?
I'm scheduled to take the GMAT on Monday to submit my app before the Round II deadline but would be willing to wait until next year if my chances are significantly better (note: I'm applying for the JD/MBA program).
Thanks for all your help and best of luck to those waiting to hear back from Kellogg.

LOL
Too early to make any conclusions. After all, the Dings undergrad GPA excludes 4 out of 6 people who received dings. I think we will have better picture as more results get released and the size of our sample expands.
