I interviewed first week of Nov, but my file went complete in the second week. Today got the decision which is 5 weeks after interview and 4 weeks after "complete". So maybe it was "after your application went complete"...

What I heard quite recently is that you will get decision +/- 4 weeks after interview date. Admits will get the call, dings just email. If you are not hearing any news (positive or negative) within +/- 4 weeks your chances for waitlist significantly increase.

Based on the feedback so far it actually makes sense. Vast majority of decisions fits +/- 4 weeks timeframe and no waitlist yet.

But then again - just opinion of a friend of mine (albeit Kellogg grad who was helping with admissions) and I guess exceptions always apply.

EDIT: well... I don't recall any more whether the info I got was "after interview date" or "after your application went complete". But you get the point.

that doesn't make much sense to me. if you inteviewed on campus before the deadline then submitted on the deadline you probably went complete back in the middle of October. But decisions are mostly going out in mid december. So thats a 2 month gap for many people.

Hmm...interesting speculation. I submitted on the due date. I interviewed on Oct. 22, I think and then there was a transcript formatting error and so I didn't go complete until Nov. 11. So I guess my time frame for finding something out would be in the very near future. I gotta say, I'm feeling a waitlist on this one.

Because I resolved the transcript formatting error on Nov. 11 and the admissions officer who I talked to on the phone immediately had my file go complete. I'm not sure if its possible to know otherwise unless you check everyday and note the day you went complete.

If that's the case, I'm definitely WL. I interviewd in mid-September!

Assuming you do get waitlisted, does anyone know general percentages of how many waitlists eventually get accepted? and when?

Has everyone who has been admitted received an update on the site about transcripts or GMAT first? I don't feel like tying myself to the phone between 5 and 6pm otherwise.

Interview date and decision date have zero correlation. I know people who interviewed in Sept and got admitted in January. Dont worry about it.

Well another day of no news for me. Time to make some more progress on the Booth essays. All my eggs are in the Kellogg basket right now.
