I got the call today and am in, R2.

Debating between Haas and Wharton EMBA...I had thought there was no question I would accept Haas' offer, but I'm not completely sure now. The woman from Haas who called today was really unenthusiastic, and was borderline snippy at one point. I was soooo so excited on the phone, and it was kind of a let down to hear the news from someone with zero excitement. I could could picture her reading off a script with a truly bored look on her face. In contrast, when I talked to the person from Wharton, I called her back (I first missed her call and she left me a vmail asking to call her) she knew instantly who I was when she answered and was incredibly excited to deliver the news. I know this sounds silly, but it does make a difference!!

I would guess you just happened to get someone very tired after a long day. I also wouldn't let one person in admissions essentially make your school choice for you. Haas and Wharton do some bar nights and they're both great programs, but they're very different. So, pick whichever one fits your goals.

Just when I was about to lose lost hope, I got a call at 4:30 PM about my admit. This was the most excruciating wait I had to face in the recent times. Even though I had faith in my app, my confidence started to crumble after 3:00 PM. Glad that this wait is over.

For people who are still waiting, my sincere best wishes. Hopefully you will get some good news.

I would be more interested in the comparison between HAAS EWMBA and Wharton SF EMBA more.. Anyone has insight?

At least UCLA emailed me yesterday for an update on my progress with some classes I'm taking at Berkeley Extension. I'm on their waitlist.

Interesting it's updated for those living on the east coast, but not those on the west coast. Haven't heard of any calls going out this morning - wonder if they finished calling everyone yesterday.

Just got an email saying I am on WL. Looks like admitted people got calls yesterday. Today it is going to be WL or Denied.

Congrats to all those accepted.

Any insights from people who got WL before and what additional materials you have submitted?
