Is it allowed to take a fresh scratch paper after the IR section even if the existing scratch paper is not completely used.

I need to use the scratch paper for timing benchmarks.

Also, is the GMAT pilot mode wherein we can chose the order of the sections still on?

Hi gmat2k17,

Testing Centers are supposed to offer you a 'fresh' laminated pad any time you request it (you will have to hand over the current pad that you're working on though). Some Centers vary on this policy though - so you should ask before you begin your Exam (or call and ask in advance of showing up at the Facility). I think that your concern about writing down timing benchmarks is unnecessary - if you already have those benchmarks memorized, then you shouldn't need to write them down.

It is better to confirm before you start your exam. I did it in my exam. I even got a new pad ready on my desk while i was eating my chocolate in 8 minutes break :D because i requested the guy to do so each time in both the breaks.

I think it depends on the test center, but at the test center I was at, they don't have any problems at all.

I have taken 4 times GMAT at 3 different test centers, in 2 different countries, and after every single section, I asked for new scratch paper - nobody told me anything about not finishing the one I had. Moreover, everytime, after i finished a section, I was asked whether I want my scratch pad to be replaced.
