Solution:

We can let the full capacity of the tank be C liters and create the equation:

1/3 C + n = 7/9 C

Let the capacity of the tank be x.

Thus, 1/3*x + n = 7/9*x
n = 7/9*x - 1/3*x
n = 4/9*x
Thus, x = 9/4*n

The correct option is D.
