I'll be taking the GMAT here in Munich. When I made the appointment I made sure to ask whether I'd get an American keyboard or a German keyboard for the AWA. The GMAC rep (who I'm sure was in an Indian call center) had to check. He confirmed that it would be "English" but that's not the same as an American keyboard...

Does anybody know for sure?

U will have a Qwerty keyboard... a nightmare for a azerty user like me

It should be the US standard one, I believe as imposed by GMAC to any test center...

I hope u are fine with the Qwerty kind one

Phew. I figured it would be an American keyboard but I wasn't 100%. Even British QWERTY keyboards are tough as some of the punctuation marks are in different places.

I feel for you, I really do! The last time I was in Paris I had a hell of a time trying to write a two-sentence e-mail.

Nope, QWERTY it is. An absolute nightmare for someone used to QUERTZ (like me!) but it is what it is.

the problem looks like to be for SWISS/FRENCH test centers, as they do have this type of keyboards...
